Richard Ortman –
Title of Richard’s presentation: “Local Government: Refuge & Resistance”
Presentation description:
As Supreme Court rulings from 1952 & 2003 make abundantly clear, the U.S. federal government has long abdicated itself of fulfilling its commission of limited government according to the Laws of Nature and Nature’s God; as a result, a new moral order of legislative and judicially protected anarchy now reigns within America. Many American citizens face a reality of being thwarted and punished by the higher-orders of government for seeking to govern righteously, leaving municipal and county governments as the final line of defense against proliferating tyranny and anarchy. Engaging with these realities, Richard Ortman presents justification, strategies, and initiatives for reclaiming the reigns of local government to defend biblical liberty and justice in the name, power, and authority of Jesus Christ.
Richard Ortman is a computer engineer by education, a ravenous consumer of the Word and theological publications, and is currently attempting to discover a path into a calling for ministry and political leadership. In his free time, Richard likes to swim, race rally cars, rock climb, and ponder theological doctrines.
