Join us on October 18th to discuss these two American rights. Reds identified “Equal Justice Under the Law” as the top concern & will initially focus on that right. Blues identified “Voting Rights” as a top concern & will initially focus on that one. Please come prepared to explain:
1. What do these rights mean to us – ho do we define them?
2. What are specific examples of how these rights appear to be eroding?
3. Why is this a concern to me, to the country?
The meeting format will then include small group discussions allowing you to share your thoughts with fellow Braver Angels from both sides of the aisle.
This meeting will be the second in a 3-part series as we delve further into our rights as American citizens. Attendance at all meetings is not required to participate. Each meeting will bring its own nuance, making it easy to join in on the discussion if you are unable to attend all sessions. Come when you can! For planning purposes, the date for meeting #3 is November 20th.
Join us for the opportunity to be heard and to hear from others about the issues of our time!

ERIE: Join Us For America First–Ohio’s “Foundation-Build-Time”.
THIS Monday 4/10, 6:30 is America First – Ohio’s “Foundation-Build-Time”. You/your voice is needed!
We’re building a Foundation that will announce to Erie County, our State of Ohio and the Nation who we are, what we believe and where we draw the line. Of course God, Freedom and Truth are integral in our Foundation building.
Once finalized, this foundation becomes a very useful tool that declares our story, helps us assess Legislation, rate candidates and then support the most outstanding legislation and election candidates in their pre-election efforts for future May and November elections. Like a magnet, America First-Ohio’s rock-solid foundation will gather our local muscle, build cross-agency collaboration, and support/advocate for individual freedoms for pending Legislation.
At this meeting we’ll also review efforts to require a super majority percent to change the Ohio Constitution and a November referendum to add unrestricted abortion and gender transition surgery to the Ohio Constitution.
Plus, we’ll review the following current/pending legislation that protects and restores freedom and security: • HB 8: Parents Bill of Rights. • HB 6: Enact the Save Women’s Sports Act • HB 11 Backpack Scholarship Program: funding that allows students/parents determine the best Educational fit for their child.. • HB 17: (Sponsor) Prohibit state officials, employees from using TikTok, other apps. • HB 20: (Sponsor) Enact the Ohio Computer Crimes Act. • HB 51: enact the Second Amendment Preservation Act which adds additional protections to the right to bear arms, to remove federal firearms law references from the state firearms control law, and to declare an emergency. • HB 68 (Sponsor) To enact sections (to the Ohio Revised Code) regarding gender transition services for minors and to name this act the Ohio Saving Adolescents from Experimentation (SAFE) Act.

HANCOCK: Biblical Principles of Freedom Constitution Series
The “America’s Biblical Principles of Freedom” class will begin next Thursday! If you want to attend (and haven’t yet registered) or have friends and/or family who would like to attend, please remind them that they need to get their RSVP in soon. The response has been great! Thank you to all of you who have advertised the class in your church, in your group, and to others!
The class will start on Thursday, March 2nd and end on March 23rd from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at Findlay First Church of the Nazarene, 2501 Broad Avenue, in Room 104. There is no book or cost to the class, but we need everyone to RSVP, so we know how many handouts to print and chairs to set up.
Here is a description of the class:
America’s Biblical Principles of Freedom Class
One of God’s greatest gifts to mankind is freedom, but it is one of the most fragile of God’s gifts. Sadly, the freedoms that were intended by our nation’s Founders have been gradually removed for generations until now we are at a tragic tipping point of losing them altogether. If we want to regain the freedoms we have lost and prevent more from being lost, then it’s time for the citizens of this country to understand and defend the biblical principles of freedom that God gave us!
In this 4-week class, you will learn:
* Lesson #1 – Our Forefathers’ Formula for Freedom as it is memorialized in a monument in Plymouth, MA
* Lesson #2 – The Biblical Principles of Freedom as stated in the Declaration of Independence
* Lesson #3 – How the Constitution Preserves our Freedoms and Prevents Tyranny
* Lesson #4 – How the 1st Amendment is the Foundation to Our Freedoms
The Original Intent of “Separation of Church and State”
Please continue to send this information on to friends and family! To RSVP or to ask questions, please contact Lisa Snaufer at 937-554-5624 or email lisasnaufer@yahoo.com.
