MEDINA: MCFAN Meeting with D.J. Swearingen and Aaron Harrison

Please join us at our next MCFAN meeting on Saturday, September 9th at 9:00am at the Thirsty Cowboy. We will be welcoming two guest speakers, State Representative D.J. Swearingen and Medina County Commissioner Aaron Harrison.

Representative Swearingen is currently serving his second term in the Ohio House of Representatives for the 89th House District. This encompasses eastern Ottawa County, western Erie County, and most of Huron County. Representative Swearingen will be discussing his endorsement of President Trump, how he is going after Google, his involvement in the TikTok Bill, and the conservative agenda that the legislature will take up when they return from their summer break. For more information about State Representative D.J. Swearingen, go to: ohiohouse.gov/members/d-j-swearingen/biography

Commissioner Harrison will be filling us in on the extremist agenda of the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA). As you may already know, NOACA has been conducting Community Engagement Sessions for their Climate Action Plan. The stated goal of these meetings is to gather public feedback on climate change mitigation strategies so NOACA can draft a final version of their plan by October of this year. Local environmental organizations with openly stated goals of “dismantling Capitalism” have gathered at these meetings to express support for NOACA’s plan of a 63.3% reduction of Greenhouse Gases by 2030 and NetZero by 2050. Commissioner Harrison will explain why it is imperative that people speak up now and push back against NOACA’s harmful agenda before it’s too late.

Medina County is slated for these 2 NOACA meetings.

OHIO: Natural Family Month From Mother’s Day to Father’s Day

The organizers at the Natural Family Foundation are working hard to strengthen the natural family bonds, restore core principles within marriage (commitments, dedication and faith) and encourage society to return to a familial system that has worked for thousands of years.
It is a positive movement that is seeking to ensure the revitalization of marriage between a man and woman with the added bonus of creating many offspring and modeling Family for the next generation.
Family, that ensures emotionally and physically healthy next generation, is a lost and dying construct.

Please present the following request to your pastor, local government, or civic organization for proclamation:
I would like to ask [ ______ group, congregation, council, etc] to consider making a proclamation that would promote a month long celebration of the centuries-old tradition of the Natural family, acknowledging this age-old institution’s proper place in today’s America and especially in our community of ________________.
This celebration would rightfully start on Mother’s day in May and end with Father’s day in June. Each week would recognize & honor family components: first, Mothers, then Children, then Grandparents, next Extended Family, & finally a week celebrating Fathers, ending on Father’s day. My hope is that by this official recognition, we would start our way back to stronger families & stronger children whose optimism, resiliency, and character help to plant seeds of hope and promise in their towns and cities.
Natural Family Month will be celebrated May 14th – June 18th, 2023 — Mother’s Day to Father’s Day. We encourage groups, organizations and individuals to join in this month of celebrating the natural family in public ways to enrich and uplift families in our communities.

ERIE: Join Us For America First–Ohio’s “Foundation-Build-Time”.

THIS Monday 4/10, 6:30 is America First – Ohio’s “Foundation-Build-Time”. You/your voice is needed!

We’re building a Foundation that will announce to Erie County, our State of Ohio and the Nation who we are, what we believe and where we draw the line. Of course God, Freedom and Truth are integral in our Foundation building.

Once finalized, this foundation becomes a very useful tool that declares our story, helps us assess Legislation, rate candidates and then support the most outstanding legislation and election candidates in their pre-election efforts for future May and November elections. Like a magnet, America First-Ohio’s rock-solid foundation will gather our local muscle, build cross-agency collaboration, and support/advocate for individual freedoms for pending Legislation.

At this meeting we’ll also review efforts to require a super majority percent to change the Ohio Constitution and a November referendum to add unrestricted abortion and gender transition surgery to the Ohio Constitution.

Plus, we’ll review the following current/pending legislation that protects and restores freedom and security: • HB 8: Parents Bill of Rights. • HB 6: Enact the Save Women’s Sports Act • HB 11 Backpack Scholarship Program: funding that allows students/parents determine the best Educational fit for their child.. • HB 17: (Sponsor) Prohibit state officials, employees from using TikTok, other apps. • HB 20: (Sponsor) Enact the Ohio Computer Crimes Act. • HB 51: enact the Second Amendment Preservation Act which adds additional protections to the right to bear arms, to remove federal firearms law references from the state firearms control law, and to declare an emergency. • HB 68 (Sponsor) To enact sections (to the Ohio Revised Code) regarding gender transition services for minors and to name this act the Ohio Saving Adolescents from Experimentation (SAFE) Act.
