“Our February speaker will be Mr. James Beatty, head of the new NorthEast Ohio Classical Academy (NEOCA) in Copley. This charter school opened in September 2024 is publically-sponsored, and employs a curriculum established by Hillsdale College featuring teaching methods used by the ancient Greeks, and those extant for our Founding Fathers and our American ancestry. Students are exposed to ancient & US history, stories of & by the great thinkers, science, Latin and art. Rather than listening to lectures, teachers provide guidance for students to listen, analyze and to engage in dialogues that engender individual confidence, creativity, and mental capacities that champion ethical and moral behavior. This education ensures a future citizenry capable of common sense and serves as a key resource for a sound American nation. Member, Phil Leiber, will lay out some proposed articles (historical flags, banners) that our folks may wish to gift to the school’s facility.”
Mark Pukita first visited SCTP in 2022 when he was running for a US Senate seat and rejoined us in August 2024 to introduce us to GFI Ohio, Grassroots Freedom Initiative. Mark would be happy to add members, family and friends to his text list. GFIOhio has contracted with the service provider that will be a completely “opt-in” list.
Election Integrity is a concern for many Ohioans. Our Secretary of State, Frank LaRose, tells us Ohio holds “gold standard” elections. Nothing could be further from the truth!
We must be educated on the weaknesses, vulnerability, and ways Ohio’s voting systems can be compromised. Then, we must help others to understand and take action.
School Boards – Next year, in November of 2025, all public school districts in Ohio will have at least 2 school board seats up for re-election, or if there is no incumbent for the seat, up for election.
We need concerned citizens who are for parental rights, a return to the basics of education, and completely depoliticizing Ohio’s public schools, to run for these school board seats.
Anyone can run & there is no need for any kind of special qualifications, experience, or skills. All that’s needed is a desire & common sense.
